These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AuraJot website and services (the "Service"), provided by AuraJot ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

AuraJot is a platform that allows users to express their emotions and utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate or refine quotes and textual content based on those emotions.

2. User Accounts and Content

  • Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • User Content: You retain all ownership rights to the mood entries you submit. However, by posting content to public areas of the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, and display that content in connection with providing the Service.
  • AI-Generated Content: Quotes and text generated by the AI based on your prompts are provided "as is". You agree that we are not responsible for the exact output of the AI, and you use the generated content at your own discretion.

3. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Posting content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful.
  • Attempting to bypass, exploit, or manipulate the AI generation features (e.g., prompt injection attacks or generating illicit material).
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Using the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

4. Community Moderation & Reporting

We provide community reporting tools to maintain a safe environment. We reserve the right to review flagged content and, at our sole discretion, hide, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Medical and Crisis Disclaimer

AuraJot is a platform for self-expression, not a medical or psychiatric service. While we may provide automated supportive resources or hide high-risk content, we assume no duty to monitor, intercept, or intervene in user crises. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or having thoughts of self-harm, you should immediately contact emergency services or a professional crisis hotline.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AuraJot, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

7. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
