  • Moderation & Reports: We collect and process reports submitted by users regarding other accounts or content to enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.

2. AI Processing and Data Usage

AuraJot utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically through OpenAI's APIs, to refine and generate quotes based on your mood entries.

  • Data Sent to OpenAI: When you generate a quote, the specific text of your mood entry is sent to OpenAI's servers to process the request.
  • Data Retention by OpenAI: OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train their foundational models. Data sent to the API is retained for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes for a maximum of 30 days, after which it is deleted.
  • Our Usage: We strictly use your data to provide, maintain, and improve the AuraJot service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Retention and Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

We store your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • The Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • The Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions. Upon your request to delete your account, your profile and content will be immediately hidden and deactivated from the platform. We may retain certain data securely in our backend archives for a limited period solely for security, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations, after which it is permanently deleted.
